Thanks for the replies guys, excellent points mentioned by ya'll. Oh and I understand the GPA thingy, but I don't have a single credit from a Comm. Coll. actually GPA is a combined from two different universities, one private in Tex and the other state. But perhaps my MCAT is not that good plus the fact that I quit med school once in the US, makes it hard.

Thanks

mcat

I think that the schools look at the GPA more than the MCAT. I am not sure, but I think your MCAT is well above the national average. In any case, I got a 30 on it, but did not get very far with american schools because my GPA was nowhere near yours. They all wanted me to do a post-bac or masters in order to increase my chances of acceptance. I chose to go to the Caribbean schools instead and got accepted to the big 3. However, I really think that you can get into an american med school because your gpa makes up tremendously for what you consider a bad mcat. Besides, an MCAT score can be fixed in one day.

I wish I had the courage to take the MCATS over!

MCATs

With a GPA like yours, you should seriously consider retaking the MCATs, maybe you should consider taking an intensive prep course to raise your score. MCATs are an important factor in medical school admissions. With regards to your GPA, you are in excellent shape. Since you plan on practicing in the US, you will be better off going to a US medical school.
