Oh by the way I currently work with the ER Residency program here at U OF A. Had a couple of my friends f(*** PROF"S) from the teaching side check it out and they found it to be legit. But then again they could have been duped as well.

I give it to you

You must have an incredible blind faith in humanity. USMLE? Yeah right, the school has to be listed in IMED-FAIMER to be elegible to sit down for it, and being the school located in a place that technically and legally for all jurisdictional practical purposes does not exist, it will not get listed. And belive me, I personally will make sure IMED-FAIMER knows about this little detail.

Did you by chance use the country code before the phone number? I have personally spoke to the University ( and yes I first did not use the country code.....). As to the USLME parts.. Dr Gross originally planned to use only MD's to teach although the University has changed some things and some classes will be taught by PHD's. The first two years basic science will be done on line for RN/PA/NP's with already proven clinical experiance. I am not sure that the on line is open for all applicants.. but I could be wrong. As to going to Panama well that will of course be different expence for everyone depending on where you live. If you read the fin. area it discusses the tution and the added cost of travel. I know that some things on the site need to be updated and tweaked some, but they are just getting off the ground. The first apps started coming in Oct of 06. (I assume this because when I paid the app fee there was a tech problem at first.) Your eval of Delphi has valid points, although I do know Dr Gross the rest I do not know, we worked together for nearly two years. At that time the WHO had just approved them, I think they have managed to do alot with just a few people.

Distance learning should be...

Distance learning should be the least of our concerns here. The school is located in a place that legally is non-existent. I can tell, I know this kind of things. It is not a state, it is a private farm.

Though the question still remains, what about the distance learning? What states still allow that for licensure?

YOU CANNOT take the USMLE because the school must be listed in IMED-FAIMER and I have explained why is not listed and why it will not get listed. ECFMG WILL NOT let you take the test as long as the school is not listed, and being jurisdictionally non-existent it is not going to happen. You gotta be pulling my leg, or are not reading carefully.

As I've been told, distant learning is not recognized in any state of the US. You're going to receive a degree that is completely worthless as per practicing in the US.

"The province was founded on 21 April 1970 by farmer Leonard George Casley (born 1925), when he and his associates proclaimed their secession from the state of Western Australia. Casley now styles himself as Prince Leonard"

Well isn't that super! I think I may claim a farm and style myself Dictator!

Google .."The Principality of Hutt River", call the Australian Government, minister of foreing affairs, the equivalent of their department of state. Let me know how long the pause was when they put you on hold, then come back to tell you they do not recognize such a place to exist. The time you were on hold, they were laughing their rears off.

How can I let IMED know? I will just request a letter from the Australian Government to state their official postion on the Principality, not a recognized state, and end of story. Oh, by the way, I have done this before, with another school of medicine allegedly based in Ghana. So, IMED DOES listen.
