Bad things happen; anyone got some advice?
I was enrolled in an american medical school and got kicked out after maginally passing one 4th year rotation and then failing another.
I've passed step 1 with a 217, Step 2 CK with a 229, and i passed step 2 CS. Is there a foreign school which will admit me with advanced standing so I can graduate and come back to the USA for residency? |

Already got a lawyer, lawsuit is filed.
I had to repeat my first year for bad grades, and during my 4th year I had a marginal pass in december, then a fail in may. all my other grades were good. no cheating. sooooo, yes, i am working on myself. The question still stands, are there any reputable foreign schools that take students advanced standing? |

Good to hear no cheating though!! yes, there are schools that will give you transfer credit- though I would imagine you would have to do the clinical years over. Like steph said - sgu won't take transfers- you would have to start over at sgu and then you would probably have time issues with step completion for licensing- better to find one that will allow for transfer so you don't have to take a step (I) over. Ross takes into the 5th semester I believe, not sure about AUCs policies or SABAs, but i would check into those schools 1st- they are amongst the oldest, with the most graduates and residents and practicing docs- AUC and Ross also get staffords and grad plus loans, so if you haven't met your aggregate, they can offset some of the cost. Again, you should see if there is anything you can do to get back to your old school (squeaky wheels you know...) or try to see if there is a US school that would take you...that could be harder without connections, but if you have them....) Good luck - hope things work out.

At AUC, we always say, worst case senario, there is always Saint Theresa's. I am sure they can use some grads for credibility.
