Everyone knows that in the offshore industry that the #1 job is WEBSITE except IMSA JBGDL.
The #2 JOB is IMED listing. IMSA- JBGDL has neither.

After several attempts at starting a US type offshore med school, and FAILING MISERABLY THEREAT, IMSA- JBGDL has now decided to become a Mexican school. They don’t know who they are or what they really want to do.

Having been given the links to several Mexican schools by Praus about a month ago, they have not yet figured out how to set up a Mexican curriculum (well they didn’t get the American curriculum set up either).


Who really believes that a revamped IMSA/JBGDL will fare significantly better than it has in the past? After all IMSA/JBGDL is just so consistently, unbelievably bad……..even after NINE ATTEMPTS, including one where its two school folded in less than 11 months last time.

Failure was not because of lack of having a charter. Failure was due to lack of funds, lack of competent leadership and expertise in running a medical school.


Having been forced to shut down the whole thing for a couple months, they have now developed an administrative system that is less inefficient than their predecessors that failed in various capacities. They are waiting for that anointed one to lead them out of the valley of mediocrity. In the interim they engage in a program of mass dIstrAction, starring witzi, vivaimsa and ztruth, with their supporting cast of snakes, toy rockets and watch dogs.


Everyone knows that businesses which are undercapitalized are doom to failure. Bogus medical schools with a poor tract record, and inept leadership are even more likely to fail on its next attempt. Has IMSA/JBGDL improved in any of these respects?



Since IMSA/JBGDL has already failed in multiple places, what guarantee can it give prospective students that it wont fail again?


By the way. Would you believe I taught at SPSOM/IMSA for 5 months, and not once did the Dean or CEO ask me to produce my academic qualifications. Another thing for you to work on ztruth

It amazes me that the folks representing jbgdl think that questions raised in this forum about their so-called medical school are simply "negative comments". For example, take a look at the site I have listed below.

Although I'm pretty sure that you guys think these kinds of questions are "silly", I implore all prospective medical students to carefully consider any foreign medical school and ask and obtain satisfactory answers to all of the questions outlined in the site below as well as those listed in valuemd posts. Now, I'm not a rocket scientist as you guys are... but doesn't CONSIDERANDO translate to "considering" viva? And does "requested" mean "was awarded"?? And IF you REALLY had the REVOE, why aren't you posting that holy document immediately on your website?? Not that it means you're going to be a successful school, as it is still only part of a series of steps in starting a bona fide medical school.

And what to make of the CEO's letter dated May 21st? Smoke and mirrors abound in your organization. Be careful, because soon no one will believe anything you say, and I mean NADA. Although, I would be a bit surprised if anyone believes anything you say now anyhow.

In the post on the link below, one notes that a list of 50 pertinent questions were asked of the IAU administration at 9 AM today.

One notes also that by 1:12 PM today ; that is within the space of four hours, that the IAU administration had responded appropriately.

One note also that this is a school that is registered in Texas.

HOW IS IT THAT THE IMSA/JGBDL can not find it in their heart to answer any such question asked of them, at any time, and that they furthermore deem such questions impractical?

You must understand that you are dealing with very deceitful folk that cannot defend themselves. Now I would not post untruths on this forum. I have never done so in 5 years. But these guys will, and have, and do so.

Some one is lying KK? Or are they confabulating? Or are they guilty of prevarication. or stretching the truth? Seems the answer is E-- ALL OF THE ABOVE!

You will notice that no one on the forum really took Viva Imsa’s boast seriously. Viva was so sure that we would have all responded (he called it striking back). What a naughty boy!

I dont play with snakes or toy rockets or watch dogs, and I am no rocket scientist, but I do know that if they had GOT the REVOE on July 4th, that viva would not take two weeks, until July 14th to gloat about this, nor would he have been silent since. Also we believed as Prausnitz said that Mexico would give them the run around.

I don't have any idea who VIVAIMSA is but in reviewing all of these posts I am beginning to wonder if he/she is not actually doing more to stop the travesty in Northern Mexico than those of us who have posted
information about the school. The stupidity of your remarks on this forum and the posting of various art work has surely done more to inhibit this travesty than all of the information that has been provided by others who have posted here. So congradulations VIVA IMSA your reverse psychology is working. You, more than any one else, are responsible for the demise of IMSA-SPSOM. I congradulate you.

Students applying for licensure are normally required, at least in some states, to prove they were out of the country during their medical training. This can mean presenting your passport to prove you were out of the country during your period of basic science training. If you attend this school and have your housing on the American side of the border, you will not be able to do this. Mexico does not require a passport until you are approximately 50 miles into the country. So you will be able to live in the USA and take classes in Mexico but there will be no passport record that you ever left the USA.
