In all honesty: I would like to know the following:

How many full time students

How many full time faculty.

Proving where you went to school

I am going to bring up the point again, that by going into Mexico on a daily basis without being able to show it on your passport is going to be a killer. You have to be able to prove that you were in a foreign country on a full time basis while you were taking your preclinical training before you will be accepted to take exams in most states. That is true for Texas and it is true in most other states.

Imsa

Had a professional translator do the documents that appear on the imsa website. This is what the document of the Government of Tamaulipas says, after mentioning the article in the law that allows private individuals to provide education.

In accordance with the previous statement and considering that the institution called South Pacific School of Medicine pretends that its graduates receive a preparation sufficient to incorporate into the educational system of the United States of North America, situation which is not to be found in the article refered before, this Educational Authority, has no objection that they be installed and operate in the municipality of Guerrero, Tamaulipas.

The studies provided by the institution will not be recognized by that State’s Educational System, nor will be taken into account for the purpose of equivalence or validation.

Signed by Secretary of Education.

This says to me that the school is operating because the state could not find a law to prevent it.

Potential students need to investigate any new schools. The fact is the caribbean market is quite saturated with schools and there are many good ones to choose from. Why take a chance?

Also, isn't this school that wants the entire amount for basic sciences and clinical sciences up front?

Not only is this school a boggus, but having lived in that area I assure that it is one of the scariest places to live, much less study! Do the math!
