Why not do a search? This topic has been covered ad nauseum. All you will get is opinion, and "my school is better than your school" debate. G

Hi teratos...
I know what you mean by that.. but I am just curious which school offer BETTER FUTURE for students after they graduate from those schools.. such as.. residency locations.. etc..
I know. Seriously, though, do a search. In fact spend a lot of time looking at the various fora. keep a running list, be it mental or written, of the pros and cons of each school. I don't think there is one school that is a good fit for anyone. Each of the schools you mention will get you where you want to go. Each has good matches each year. I wouldn't try to sway you from attending any of the schools you mentioned. Any answer you get regarding which school is best will only be conjecture, unless someone has attended all 3. Good luck with your search. I won't interfere further. GOriginally Posted by Compassion MD

These are great institutions,
The future is in YOUR hands not the kind of school you go to...I've seen doctors that are VERY successful graduating from a low end or average schools....and some BAD doctors from great schools....
The school can only provide you with the basic tools....with regards to the latter list..all are considered great MD Programs in the carribean region.......
Good luck....

511 points Hi everyone,
what about schools like: Hope university (Belize); Spartan (St Lucia); Xavier (Aruba);or AUA (Antigua) do all of them put out good numbers on the match?
Should I be looking up to attend any of those schools?
Anyone please, I am kind of new to this, I am just beggining my search in to medical school in the Caribbean, I am a Pharmacy student in Venezuela but decided to go for medicine.
Which car is better? Buick, Ford or Chrysler?Originally Posted by Compassion MD
Seriously, that's an impossibly broad question to answer. All three has a proven track record and have licensed graduates in all 50 states. SGU is most well-known and most selective, but also most expensive. Ross is considered good, but have very large classes. AUC is on a nice island with many flight connections to/from the US.
510 points If you look at all the foreign medical school and you are honest with yourself. They all have one big thing in-common,... they are giving you that opportunity that the US schools didn't. So... No matter what school you pick you still have to pass the USMLE exams. So good luck in your endeavors
