Difference between a college and an institute?
I've seen a few instances where people are finding some education offered by an 'institute' - might these just be a regular college with a lofty name, or are they 'fake' schools?
Many thanks, Glenn |

HMI info
I did not attend HMI, but I am doing clerkships with some students from Hope. The clerkships are in Ohio. The students really enjoyed the school. Most of the students at the hospital I am at rotated in New York for a while then came to Ohio to do everything else. There is one girl whose parents are FMGs in Chicago. She believes they can do residency in California, but getting licensed may be a different matter. I don't know how right she is because my point of view has always been that you need to be a school for 20 years before California will even look at your school. Hope has only been open since 1993.
Hope that helps some. |

Hope is not a school, it is an agency that for a fee sends students to Polish Medical schools. Search the European forum like Miklos said and you will find alot written about these guys.
