Question on Accreditation Reqs for States Following California's MD School List

According to the Medical Board of California, FMGs must attend an approved medical program for ALL years of medical school in order to qualify for a California medical license. So you can't go to unapproved med school A, and then transfer to approved english instruction med school B, to meet the CA Med Board's license requirements.

Does the same rule apply to states like Indiana, which piggy-back on California's approved medical school list???

Very good question, lawmed, and I do not know for certain. The copycat states seem to follow CMB to varying levels of strictness, though, so I don't think that there is a uniform answer to that. IN could give you a different answer in that situation than NM, VT, TN, etc.
