Hi guys,
I'm in a bit of an unusual situation, and I wondered if someone would be able to help me.
I'm a British citizen who completed the first 4 of 5 years of undergraduate Medicine and an intercalated degree at a UK medschool. I then passed my written finals but failed my clinical exams. Tough new rules mean that I am not allowed to resit, and my appeal has failed. So now I am looking to transfer elsewhere to complete my studies.
I would to study in the EU to avoid difficulties applying for jobs back in the UK. I would like to study in English as this is the only language I can speak properly, although I will learn another language as best as I can so as to be able to speak with patients. I don't want to spend too much more time (as I've already spent 6 years) nor money (as I have enough debt already!).
TL;DR: two questions:
a) How far through a medical degree is it possible to get accepted to transfer to?
b) Where should I apply?
I'm thinking Romania maybe? Oradea? Cluj? Or elsewhere?
Thanks for your help in advance,
Lucien
