what percentage of incoming students at poznan (4 yr english md course) already know polish? up to what level must one learn the language? is it a hard language to learn as far as learning languages go?

basic level - because when doing rounds you'll be wearing a clown suit anyway, so who cares about patient interaction. It's really about the large shoes and the large red rubber nose..

sorry, I couldn't resist. You can tell I'm a bit sarcastic. One thing I'll tell you is that for the months that I've been on this forum, you don't hear a lot about the program from former students because the class size is pretty small (only 40 students per year for the 4 year MD program ), so I would try contacting the school directly or the student website:

I know German and some French, and so far Polish has been much harder to learn, but then again, I'm not in Poland yet...
