First and foremost, they do not accept the MCAT, that is for US schools, Canadian and some private Caribbean schools. I will give you a very brief synopsis on how it works. You must apply directly to each school, have all your high school transcripts on hand plus sit for their entrance exams, which are in SPANISH. I do not believe they will give you credit for any college you may have taken. The programs are 6 years long and you will be charged in EURO as a foreign student non-EU member if you do not live in Europe. It is hard as hell and remember, you are on your own there, they do not prepare you for USMLE if your goal is to return to the USA, their main goal is to train SPANIARDS and Europeans in SPANISH. They have very strict dates to accept any paperwork, applications and stamped documents from the local embassy. The entrance exam is offered on a yearly basis (it might have changed to twice a year, I am not sure).
Rather than asking here I strongly recommend you to visit each website for the schools you might be interested in. After all that will be your best bet on what to do, not this forum. There are visa issues, and financial issues that you must address with each school. When you apply there YOU MUST PROVE YOU HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS to get you through school, you won't be elegible for work, that requires another type of visa and creates a paperwork nightmare.
I don't mean to scare you, just present a few crude facts as they are and could be.
Max

510 points It does sound hard to get in, I am moving to madrid in October I just got a job in clinical research. I did contact a couple schools by email three weeks ago but I still havent got an email back. My big concern now is the financial issues, is there any type of financial aid for Non-EU students? THANKS Max for your help.
Normally the financial aid they have, "becas" or grants are very competitve to get and reserved for Spaniards with little $$$ and lots of potential. Spain has a high incident of unemployed physicians, that is one of the reasons they try make it hard, and they are very protective of their own, of course they like to have foreign students so they can charge them more than they do to locals. It's in our genes I guess
