Me in KSMU? No, however I did look into the programme at KSMU, as well as many other programmes, but that was merely as a contingency plan a few years back. I did pay particular interest in the medical schools of eastern Europe, of course for the main reason that many do - money.

After being accepted by SGU in 2006, I subsequently obtained offers from three out of four British medical schools. I am now an undergraduate at one of these British medical schools.

I am one of the most impatient people I know, however a year or two on from researching many schools in Europe, and prior to being accepted in the UK, I told myself that I would much rather undertake a 3 year undergraduate science degree here in the UK, and then go through the process of applying for the fiercely competitive 4 year graduate entry programmes here in the UK - as opposed to entering a school in the EU.

I think the primary reason why the Czech, Polish and Hungarian schools have high attrition rates is because tons and tons of people apply and so they have to "weed-out" the students during the 1st three years as the seats are limited. This seems to be one of the main reasons why professors are so tough on their students....it's more like "survival of the fittest".....
I do , agree the above is partly true. But I think , its also to do with the tradition. I mean , even for the local students ( in Native language programs , who don't pay much fees) the failing rates are high. Even though most locals don't completely fail out of the school, they do fail. And ..this shows that , its just something to do with the way teachers expect students to know. Its doesn't mean that they will purposely ask you hard questions or anything. Its just the way they are.
