Hey everyone, how's life?
I’ve decided that the American route to med school takes way to much time, and I'm looking to apply to a medical school in Europe; namely Lodz and Poznan. I was working on an application to Palacky, but after receiving an extremely rude and prejudiced email from that school I decided that it probably doesn’t have the best environment. I am in no way discouraged from applying to any other European medical schools, but my little incident had me vying for a school with more Americans. This led me to my search of which remaining European med schools harbored more American students. I’ve found information ON American students, but I’m looking for numbers. I’m wondering of anyone here knows where I can find numbers of how many students (like a percent?) of what country of origin goes to both or either of those schools?
Do they even have that? School websites are not very helpful, and Google isn’t doing so hot either.
I’ve also looked through posts on Lodz and Poznan, and I’ve read accounts of happy students and not so happy students… one guy completely bashed Lodz… heh. But those posts were in early 2005, and I have yet to read opinions from people in a slightly more recent timeframe. Such as 2006, perhaps in the past few months. So… anyone got any opinions?
Also, I read this thread:

and was wondering if anything has changed in the couple of months… I’ve looked into this myself; I should be getting some info tomorrow. But if anyone has any information now, that would be great.
Thanks a lot everyone, you’ve been helpful already.
