I will be on the island for the first time in MAY and am looking for a roommate. Although I have read ALL the postings on the ROSS forum I still have not been able to get a handle for the housing on the island. Although, I realize the prudent general advice seems to be a "look before you leap" which I am wholeheartedly in favor of, I am unable to set foot on the island until May 7 this being the case this may not work out for me so well. So, for those of you already on the island and can offer insight on the housing situation in terms of rent, amenities we should expect, best locations etc...please do post it here for everyone. If you need someone to split bills with I'm all ears and eyes (if you can send pics). I am currently in New Orelans so if anyone would like to set up a get together I would love to meet you. If there is anyone else also in need of a roommate and would like to talk please feel free to contact me.

Obviously the cheaper the better but I am willing to split equally with a reasonable roommate, gender is not important and as for me I'm 24 y/o Indian m., if anyone is getting there sooner then I am email me to see if we can work something out.
