What is International Health?
Hi all,
I've heard numerous times in reference to the schools in Israel that they are more focused International Health. Could someone elaborate on what exactly that means, please. Thank you

Ben Gurion, in particular, emphasizes international health.
IH is an emphasis on the health needs of less developed countries - BG, for example, has a requirement for students to travel to a very 3rd world country (Nepal, Kenya, for example) to see what medical care is like there. I believe (but you should check) that the month is spent partially in clinical duties and partially in observing/researching health programs and systems.
