Thread: Transfer from european medical school to any israeli med program.

I was just interested in knowing if there had been any cases of people being accepted into any israeli medical schools from european medical schools and if so what schools?

Why don't you just contact the schools? There are only 4 in the whole country. I don't understand why people ask things like this. no offense, but let's say they haven't taken Europeans - should that stop you?

many Isreali's study in Europe for med-school, some do manage to transfer back in.

I assume you're talking about the American medicals schools in Israel (if you're referring to Israeli medical programs for Israelis, then I have no idea). Of the three medical programs in Israel geared for Americans, the only one that accepts transfer students is the Technion.

Cause maybe someone has insight that may shed some light you never know, and it would stop me because im not trying to start all over again if you know what i mean.

BGU has taken a transfer or two in the past- not sure how long ago.

no offense, but I don't think anyone on this board can prevent you from starting over- you need to contact the 3 American programs and ask...don't waste your time here. go do it and make a good case for yourself.

Im not offended at all and im aware of that this is not some kind of commitee here so i will just call and ask them my self thanks for your help.

so what happened in the end?

This is an interesting topic to me. If anyone has any more information to share as far as investigating or actually working through this process please share. I will try to do the same, as possible.
