    Applying to american-geared Israeli programs

I would appreciate if anyone with knowledge of Israeli M.D. programs geared towards American students (Sackler, BGU, Technion). Do you simply have to fill out one individual application for each, and wait for interviews (no secondaries or subsequent app's)? I'm not familiar with the system outside of US schools.

For people familiar with the individual schools, what kind of GPA/MCAT scores will these programs be expecting? Any other information you guys have that can shed light on this or other subjects concerning these schools would be very helpful. Thanks.

Each of the schools you mentioned have websites detailing all that information.

    has what been fixed?

2010 is applying all over the place. some students have opted to stay in Israel, but most are applying to their home region, nyc, LA etc.

as for individuals i am not comfortable detailing specifics.

we have been told that we are now reaffiliated with einstein, allegedly with keck and south carolina newly affiliated with jefferson and temple U, as well as michigan.

The Dean of our school, Prof Perlman seems to be working very hard to affiliate us with many top hospitals. Hopefully this will continue.

If you want specifics as to where students are rotating, i'd suggest contacting the school and asking for contact info of present students and then asking them directly. It is already late August- time to apply for residency!

Each school has a different application process as the schools are very different in nature.

BGU-MSIH is focused on educating students to become leaders in global health. The application is quite long. I had to write essays detailing my international health experience, work experience, etc. After you submit your application, transcript, MCAT scores, and letters of recommendation, you may/may not be invited to an interview.

Interviews are done at Columbia NY-Presbyterian Hospital. There are two separate one-on-one interviews done by Columbia faculty.
