My chances of admission at BGU and Sackler

Hi everyone,

I am sorry to start another "what are my chances" thread, but I am really beginning to worry about my chances for admission to either BGU or Sackler for fall 2008 so I thought I would try to get information here.

MY undergrad GPA: 2.98, BCPM: 2.75

SMP at Boston University School of Medicine (where I took lots of med school classes and performed at the same level or better than the median of the medical students at BU in all instances where I “competed” against them.): 3.41

MCAT: 32 (12 PS, 11 **, 9 VR)

Do both Sackler and BGU look at everything? Or are they very much concerned about numbers?

I have good letters and I have done research for Johns Hopkins SOM and the World Health Organization. I have Good volunteering etc...

Thank you so much in advance, and I am sorry if this sounds annoying. I am just really in love with both of these schools, but I dont want to get my hopes up. Any insight is welcome!

Hi-
I think that besides from your GPA you are very competitive as a medical school candidate in general and Sackler/BGU specifically. Research is a good thing to have and it will also serve you later on in getting residency.
Again- it is hard to dictate in advance who has what chance of getting in but I think that you are well off.
Good luck
