It is not a disadvantage since sackler is a secular school. In fact, some religious students in my class find sackler to be too secular, such as scheduling exams without regard to Jewish holidays.
Sackler does have its largest class ever this year (I'm in it). I think this is mainly because they thought more students would drop when the Lebanon War broke out and they overaccepted. In actuality, I think only two students deferred to next year. From what I heard, whether it's true or not, is that Sackler wants to maintain a larger American Program class size.
Your stats sound fine. I have heard of people rejected with higher stats and accepted with lower stats.
I think it is common occurence for people to hear as late as June/July. You have to understand, that a good proportion of the students who go to Sackler are capable of getting accepted to US MD schools and therefore may get off of wait-lists in the summer months or opt to go to a US MD school they were accepted to rather than Sackler. Although I was accepted in the spring, I didn't truly decide until the end of July/beg. of August.

Also, i heard people saying that sackler is tightening the screws a bit this year regarding admissions, since their incoming class last year was very large. can anyone confirm this? Would i be competetive with a post-bac gpa of 3.3, 30 mcat score?
I heard of people getting in at the last minute in June/july in previous years. Is this a common occurence at sackler?
