Forget to ask...
can a student select Napel campus and gets degree from the medical college of nepal ,is napel school CA approved?
[sorry for keep asking about california approvals that is because this will be the most important survivability issue of international schools in 2005 especially with the carribean med education.]
thanks for your reply.
IAU is not approved in california according to their website:
http://www.medbd.ca.gov/Approved_Schools.htm#C
I called them directly and they said that the school has not met the standards for California. California requires that schools have at least a two year good track record. This school has been open less than one year and htus have no physicians in the US practicing. Be aware!!! St. George's is approved in the Caribbean and I believe Saba is also if you matriculated later than 2002. If you graduated before 2002 you cannot get approval in California. Even if IAU gets approval in 1o years time there are no guarantees whatsover that a graduate that matriculated before that time will get approved....hmmm
