    NY Approval

    The NY State Education Department conducted a site visit and has determined that IAU College of Medicine substantially meets the requirements of the Regulations of the Commissioner of the New York State Education Department and will recommend to the NY State Board of Regents that the College of Medicine be approved to conduct clinical clerkships in hospitals located in the NY State.

    The site visit was conducted in early December.

    Minimum time frame is 6 months. Of course, it will be listed in the NY Office of Professions Licensing website upon formal approval. New clinical sites will be posted in the school website www.iau.edu.lc

    What happened to the hospitals that cancelled their clinical rotation agreement with IAU? I heard there were some students caught in the middle of that and had to RESTART their entire clinical work.

    I would like to verify this news with A HOSPITAL! Congratulations to IAU when they list A HOSPITAL!!!

    We have some solid clinical spots in Chicago and Atlanta. The acheivement is that graduates can participate in NY residencies. About 20% of the overall residency positions are located in NY. For more info see IAU NY Approval
