Faculty
My experiences with the faculty down here have been almost overwhelmingly positive. The faculty is around to answer questions whenever you need them, and are always willing to sit down and spend time with you to go over material when needed.
With the low student/teacher ratio - it is very easy to just walk in a teachers office if you ever have a question. The teachers are very knowledgeable about the topic areas being covered - and if they don't know the answer to a question, they will make sure they know the answer the next time they talk to you. Our new Associate Dean is always there for the students. He is definitely an individual you want to get to know your first semester down here. His door is always open for you and if you have any problems or concerns, he is the person to go to. |

I have never been to a school where the faculty has stayed past midnight tutoring students, including the basic science dean himself. If you need tutoring you WILL get it!
