Post Helpful links for Individual States...

I found this on someone else's post...

List of Links to US Medical Boards
FSMB

Requirements for IMG in most states –
FSMB

In addition to the basic requirements for licensure prescribed in each state, any applicant who has graduated from a Foreign Medical School shall meet each of the following requirements:
• Graduated from a medical school
• Verification of Clinical Clerkships
• Certification by ECFMG
• Completion of at least THREE (3) years of internship or residency in an ACGME approved program in the United States
• Passed USMLE
Refer to each state medical board web site for some state specific requirements in addition to above or exceptions.
If school is not approved/recognized in any one state, than most of the state will not recognized degree from that school. It is in fine print in many state boards rules.
Alabama – Ross is approved/recognized
List in Paragraph 540-X-3-.02 Medical Education Requirement (6) schools which are not approved or 540-X-3-.02 Medical Education Requirement (7) graduate from schools are approved on case by case basis. Ross is not listed in either list. Therefore, Ross is approved in Alabama.
