B1 Visa for Canadians doing Clinicals in US

Our members don't see this ad.
I wonder if there is any limitations on B1 visa for Canadian citizens? As I undrestand the max. is "one" year per issued visa, however, I wonder if there is any "CAP" as how many times B1 Could be renewed!?

Any info is greatly appreciated...

Sorry I don't have an answer. But I suggest you try posting on the Canadian IMG section as it seems to get more responses

B1 Visa

I am not aware of a cap for it. Since your clerkships usually don't go past 2-3 years, you wouldn't need more than one or two renewals. I got mine for a year and then renewed it for the remaining 6 months when I passed through customs at the border. As long as you show a letter from the school stating that you are in clerkships with the dates (from __ to ___), then you will be issued a renewal.

Hope that helps.
