Candian in a US Medical School
Our members don't see this ad.
As a Canadian holding a US Medical degree, will she qualify for an H1 or does she need to get a J1? Does she need to pass Step 3 too? Lastly, does she need to take some sort of Canadian exam to get her Visa? Any knowledge you might have on the situation would be helpful. Reading the forum hasn't gotten me too far since her situation is so unique. |

Since Canadian and US medical degrees are 'equivalent', the US grad is not subject to the MCC Evaluating Exam (IMGs must subject to this exam and must write it in advance of applying for a J-1 Visa.)
