I've heard that if you are majoring in something related to medicine such as biology, chemistry you can gain admittance without the need of an entrance exam. Is that true? I am american but living in Brazil and currently enrolled 2nd semester of a major in Biotechnology at a university here in Brazil. Am I eligible to be admitted without an entrance exam? The reason i am asking this is because it is almost impossible for me to travel abroad just to take the exam.
This is a question that should be answered by the school, call/e-mail the school and ask them, I think need to have finished the mayor to be exempted from the written part, the oral though, I believe is obligatory, correct me if I'm wrong.
