Thread: just got accepntace fron Uni of Szeged and need help!!!

hello there, i just got my acceptance from Uni of Szeged Medicine ,and i found out that they don't have a dormitory!! So where can i find a place to live or is there place that all students live??? Can u guys give info about how to find these stuff

The dormitory is for hungarian students only! as far as I know no foreigner has actually stayed there you have to rent a house. I advise you to STAY AWAY from "ARIAN agency" the guy is parasite who lives off your ignorance of the hungarian and the homeowner's ignorance of english... also do not arrange a hotel with the university they probably will send you to an expensive hotel. hostels are cheaper until you find some accommodation.

find the group apartments in szeged on facebook... homeowners usually post there but agents also post there as well!

As fbuni mentioned the dorm of Szeged uni is only for Hungarian students, but there's another dorm located at Londoni KRT 13. (close to Arkad, the biggest mall in Szeged), it's called dormitory of Szent IMRE Kollegium, it's a new building and very cheap, some of my friends live there but unfortunately I don't have any more info about the dorm.

and if you are looking for an agency, I suggest you to contact Feel Home (feelhome(dot)hu) agency, they speak a good English and I'm sure they have the flat that you're looking for.

szegedrent(dot)hu is pretty good as well. they even help you install your internet faster. My advice is to double check before you decide. some of the landlords will try to take you for a ride for sure. most of the times the heating cost is way more than what they say and you will have to check for yourself the distance from the uni and the anatomy department.

I'm looking for a girl flatmate. I am a student as well. The flat is totally new, even the furniters , everything! It is really close to university(10 minutes) and to the TIK library (5 minutes). The number 4 tram station is just 2 minutes, plus shopping centers are very close as well, around 10 minutes by walk.
