Semmelweis admission with no exam for current undergrad students

I have read somewhere that if you have completed at least one year of a medical related major such as biology or maybe chemistry you do not have to take the entrance exam to gain admission. I am a current undergrad student in Bioengineering, however medicine is my passion and I would like to study at Semmelweis. Is it true that I do not have to take an entrance exam to gain admission?

I dont know about Semmelweis, but I think it is true for Debrecen, if you are interested.

Otherwise I suggest you to really NOT worry about the extrance exam, since it is very very basic and easy and you have related science background.

    Good luck

Here's what it says in Debrecen's website: " Applicants having a B.A. or B.Sc. degree in Biology-related natural science fields at internationally accredited and registered English language foreign colleges or universities may be exempted from the University of Debrecen entrance exam"

However, I don't have a a degree. I'm now a sophomore in Bioengineering/Biotechnology and it is not from an English language college. And I'm 17 years old. I believe they only accept if you are over 18.

I was accepted last year but decided not to attend.
I was exempted from taking the entrance exam but I had only one term left until Graduation at that time.
I think you should have at leas two years of undergrad in order to be exempted, but I'm not sure.
Just email the school and ask them directly.
