I've been trying to find some info about the number of applicants and the # of those that get accepted to Semmelweis, Pecs, or Szeged. I'm interested in doing the pre-med one year program (especially because it will help me with the hungarian language and review the sciences). Then I'll obviously do the written and oral exams. This is where my question comes in. I've heard that admission to hungarian universities is quite easy (may not be the case for Semmelweis) thus the reason to the high number of dropouts during the first 3 years. And that's what I'm worried about. I really don't want to spend a year doing a pre-med program, then do well in it and also do well in the entrance exams but yet I might still get rejected.
I've contacted studyhungry.hu and Pecs and they have told me that as long as I come everyday and work hard, I should have no trouble getting accepted. Regarding studyhungry.hu, I'm still confused about their pre-med program. I mean, do the 3 universities' (Semmelweis, Pecs, Szeged) offer their pre-med program at McDaniel College AKA studyhungry.hu or do the 3 universities offer their own pre-med programs?
Pls. I have heard Semmelweis accepts 30% of applicants...true?
Thx
