Thread: Debrceen: entrance exam and interview

heyI have the entrance exam and interview for Debrceen (dentistry) in a weeks time. So far i have done no revision (i hear its a joke and they accept everyone). These are my qns:1. Is it really worth touching a book and attempting some form ofrevision?2. What is the format of the exam? essay? mcq? etc3. What do they actually ask in the interview? Is it proper stuff like why dentistry etc or is it just a general chat....what revision do i need for the int?

I think the tution fees is aprox 7000k

well congratulation !! You made it . What do you mean by a jock ? Was it too easy or was it too hard and where are you going from here ?

could you explain the format for the test a bit more?
and is the test going to be any different that the medical school program?
just curious on what to expect and your input would be appreciated

Hey mate, I just took the exam. The format was the same for all programs. It started out with a written exam in the morning followed by your oral exam/interview after the written. After your interview which last about 20mins, they will either let you know about 5 mins after its over if you got in or at the end of the day. The topics were all from the sheet. Its all pretty straight forward and easy. If you have any more questions just pm me. -Snake

It was basically split into two parts. A half an hour written paper and 20 minute oral exam. The written paper is multiple choice and very basic. The physics aspect is jus basic maths (division, multipication etc). In the oral part some people got asked to pick a topic from the list given or just got asked directly. Its again pretty basic stuff so just make sure you know each topic a little bit. The exam is the same whether you are applying for medicine or dentistry. Once, you complete the oral part they send you outside so they can "decide" whether your accepted or not. Five minutes later they call you in and give you a acceptance letter which states that you must pay $1000 dollars in next two weeks to reserve your place lol. It also has all the basic stuff like the immunisations you need etcWhere im going from here?? Who knows but im not keen on it!
