Thread: planning to study medicine in hungary

I am UK based student and planning to study medicine in Hungary . I am gathering very confusing information . I need to know which university is good and which one is bad . To be honest I dont how to start and where to go ? Reading some of texts in this forum has made me suspicious towards representatives . Along this information I would like to also know is there any financial support (loan) available for students ? More to this how I can find a cheap room ? Please as much as you can . I would like to thank every one in advance .

Unfortunately, there is a huge variation of opinion amongst medical students on their experience in Hungarian schools. Thus, it is only wise to ask as many as you can and, based on that, decide if the system is good enough for you or otherwise.
So, how can you get a reasonable number of students to ask? Simple! Come on a campus visit!
Since you currently study in Ireland, it won't be much of a problem for you to come over here. Come and see things for yourself; attend lectures and assess the teachers' teaching skills, their command of the English language etc. I asked you to visit 'cause I have some friends from Norway who often travel home. I never asked them, but it's obvious that it's not that expensive...LOL. Pay a visit, and all your questions would be answered...firsthand.

I encourage all prospective students to follow african child's direction . I am planning to go to Hungary in May myself . It's huge commitment and it definitely makes sense . Good luck to all .
