    Credit repair

I'm applying for the January terms for SGU and AUC. As of now, it would be difficult to get all of the necessary loans. My credit scores range from 600-630 and from what I gather, you need at least a 650 to get most loans. Anyone have this trouble before? Anyone able to give me advice?

As far as I can gather, your options are:

    1) Fix whatever is fixable (collections, etc.) on your credit report to raise your score.

    2) Find someone with a higher credit score willing to cosign the loan with you...

Pay any outstanding negatives on your report to "0" owed. Read the 'credit' and 'student loans' sections on creditboards.com, post your questions. You'll be helped.

    Response.

    Salutations "t_diddy43":

It has been done before. It really sucks when someone can't attend medical school because they can't obtain loans. In either case, take the advice offered by "julestx" and repair your credit. The first thing I would do is look at my credit report to see what is causing such a low score. It may be something really minor such as you forgot to pay a bill. Once you "fix" your credit report as best you can and if you still think your score is too low, you may have to start looking for a cosigner with good credit. Good luck. Ciao.

Just checked out the creditboards site-seems like it's pretty helpful. Thanks for posting that info.
