You can go to BigZoo.com and register. They have monthly charge of 75 cents. Calls made to Dominica are charged at 19.9 cents from California. You keep adding money as you keep using it up and can check your usage and the balance immediately.

I assume big zoo is like a pre-paid calling card? Is the 19.5 cents per min?

We've been using Dial Pad a lot, and have had pretty good luck with it. There are times when it sounds a little scratchy, and it is kind of like talking on a two-way radio. In other words, only one of you can talk at a time, and then pause. Sometimes there is a faint echo, too. We put up with it because the price is right....only one cent per min.

Yes, it is like a calling card, and charged over the internet. It is 19.9 cents per minute and the calls have been very clear so far.

It is reportedly 2 cents per min. and no lag time and is good reception

Sanaphone...can be found at www.sanaphone.com
It is 17 cents per min

Dial pad's current rate is 3.9 cents per min., occasionally sounds tinny, and has a faint echo with lag-time.

i was using bigzoo plan to call literally to 5 countries
within USA, canada, mexico and europe.

there was a big void since it closed down but i found a very similar plan @ http://www.lotsofminutes.com it has great flat rates to call many countries and there are no extra fees at all. what a peace of mind when you do not have to call the customer care line to argue about some hidden charges. i have set it on auto recharge so i never run out of juice when it matters most. hope this helps.

dominica is 18 cents on www.lotsofminutes.com and i got $ 7.25 free on sign up. really sorry for not mentioning the price for dominica
