Updates- it was a good decision.

Hi, it's been awhile since I last posted but thought I should provide some updates. My husband did leave to go to med school and I stayed home, am still working and my children continue to go to school here. I have to tell all of you that this was the best decision we could have mind. Can you believe that he's already almost finished med 2 and will be home in less than a month!!!(semester break). I'm not telling any of you that it will be easy, because it's not. My other half is not here and most of the time, I don't sleep well and there's this anxiety that just doesn't go away. He's got it worse as he is totally away from his home and family, but you know what? time flies and before we know it, he will be doing his clinicals and will be so much closer to home. This was a decision we made for us. He will have made his dream come true, I can retire early (yay!!) and do whatever I like but very importantly, we are hoping we have paved the road better for our children and for their future as at this point in time, they both want to be doctors. But from our end, we see this as an opportunity of a lifetime that if it slips away again, who knows if it willever return. You only live once and if you can make your dreams come true, why not? All this sacrifice is well worth it! Thanks again to all who responded to my earlier posts and anyone who is in the same situation, please feel free to pm me.
