Was wondering how long it takes to get your loan refund check after class starts, in addition, once you have your check, how do you deposit it? (by which i mean, do most people deposit in a local bank, or do they send it back home)

How much money did you guys bring when you initially came to the island for 1st semester? I will probably have about $1000 after my plane ticket, I was wondering if this will be enough to be get by on until my loan check comes.

Hey guys. First semesters have till November 20th to submit equipment order forms for stethoscope, otoscope and a few other things which total somewhere b/w 800-1000$. Can any upper semesters tell us if the school's supplies are a descent price/quality for the amount of money they want or if it's better to get other stuff over new years break while back in the states. Or do we perhaps not really need any of this stuff at all like dissection kits for anatomy where there are now 11 kits per table! Hello all, Please I need some advice from AUC students: I am currently at Ross and I regret my decision of coming to this island. My mood is affecting my study habits and consequently my grades, as of now I am failing some classes. So: A) Should I quit before the semester ends from Ross and apply to AUC (WITHOUT MENTIONING I EVER ATTENDED ROSS, WILL AUC FIND OUT I ATTENDED ROSS?) B) Should I try to transfer even if I fail a class or more at Ross? (Will AUC accept the credits?) Some points about AUC: A)How are the exams there? Is it all subjects in one exam? B) If you fail a class at AUC, do you have to repeat the whole semester? or just the class you failed (If you only have to repeat the class you failed, will that delay your graduation?) At the current time is passing the nbme COMP required to take Step 1 at AUC? If so, what score, 62?

Other than passing basic sciences + 5th semester are there any other requirements to sit for Step 1?
