Hey everyone! So as you can easily deduce, I am an aspiring doctor currently residing in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am a Canadian citizen as well as a Polish citizen! I was born here in Canada, but both parents were born in Poland. I have a polish passport as well as a Canadian one.

So I've always considered attending Caribbean medical schools if I did not manage to achieve adequate grades or MCAT scores for North American medical schools, but I've yet to consider Polish med schools until a few days ago when my parents mentioned the option.

I am a grade 12 high school student taking three core sciences (bio chem phys) and two maths (adv. func., calc.) as well as English. My average is roughly 87-90 at the moment and will likely be maintained. Originally I was going for U of T life science for my undergrad, and then I was planing on attending a med school....that is until I heard great things about the 6 year medical program you can attending directly after high school!

Pertinent information:

-Grade 12 high school student with a good average taking all sciences/maths graduating in june 2010.

-Currently live in Canada, I'm a Canadian citizen and have lived here my entire life but I am also a Polish citizen.

-I am very interested in the 6 year English medical programs offered directly after high school in Poland

-I know enough Polish for basic communication and I understand it decently well (both parents are fluent)

Questions:

1. As a Polish AND Canadian citizen living in Canada, would I qualify for Polish pricing for the English 6 year M.D. programs in Polish Medical schools?

2. Would I qualify for POLISH government loans since I AM a Polish citizen living in Canada?

3. If I qualified for the ENGLISH M.D. program, would I still need to take the acceptance exam / do the interview?
