Thread: need info on the Charles University Entrance Exam please!!

HEY!
I am taking the Charles uni medicine entrance exam in 18 days! Does anyone KNOW how many questions are on the exam, what is the grade to pass, and how hard it is ?
Please answer with clear and straight answers not I think, I heard....I dont need that..

By coincidence, I ran into a few students taking the entrance exam today. I asked them what the pass mark was and they told me 50.

So there, 50 out of 90 = 55%

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I am looking for info regarding the entrance examination at Charles University. For external reasons I was unable to attend the exam on June 17th. Luckily they rescheduled for August 31st. I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to give me some information about the test, and if anyone has taken it; what did you feel was the most important subjects to study. I know its a general question but any details would be greatly appreciated.
I have been studying the practice exams and the list of terms that are given at their website. Would that be enough? Anyways thank you for any help.

Which Charles University? There are 5 Charles University medical schools in the Czech Republic.

Hey Krix07! I'm guessing you're from the UK?
I'm almost in the same boat as you, I haven't written the test yet but I'm going to write it August 24th here in Toronto. From everything I've read from people posting on these forums, the bio test is predominantly on the human bio section; the chem part has a lot of organic chem; for the last part, I'm not entirely sure what's going to be tested the most, and because I'm not writing the test in Prague, I'm not even given the choice between writing Physics or Math - I'm forced to do physics. I'm still confident though, getting in seems like the easy part, the real test is doing well and staying in. All we gotta do is get above that minimum score!
If anyone else has more insight on this, I'd appreciate the help too.

1st faculty I'm pretty sure, I know for a fact that the last offered exam for them in Prague is the 31st of August, so it makes sense

No, the students which told me this information were at the 3rd faculty.

From memory, I don't think the periodic table was required for the entrance exam at the 1st fac.
