Thread: Anyone Going to Masaryk University

Hi guys, Just wanted to know if anyone has applied to Masaryk University for Medicine.

Ty =) I chose math.
The biology and math parts were both easy (in my opinion).
And it was going great in chem till I bumped into organic chem xDDDD
That was without a doubt the most difficult part of the examination. But still doable. =P
I'm applying from Portugal.

Did you get a calculator and periodic table?

When do we have to send A Level certificates to Masaryk University? Do we bring them to the entrance exam? I tried looking on their website but couldn't find the answer.

You don't need those until after you have been accepted. You will need all your school certificates from secondary school(GCSE certificates), all the way to A-Levels, stamped with an apostille stamp. Then you will need the whole thing translated into czech language by a translator. Then I think you send it to the ministry of education who will then say that they recognise you education qualifications. But you don't need to do that until after you have been accepted.

I used the periodic table on the calc. xP (used TI 84 plus).
The only thing U have to worry about before being aceppted is getting the 60% mark. xD After being aceppted..Yoma explained it pretty well.

Do you need 60% overall or 60% on each subject?

I think its 60% on each subject..but I'm not sure :/

Does anyone know if there is a negative marking system for the exam? I heard that they deduct marks if you answer questions incorrectly :S
