The HK faculty does not have CA approval but is still recognized in many other US states. However, having a CA-approval is sort of an advantage no matter what state you're applying to as it's a ranking criterion in itself.

I don't think any of the faculties are really "seeking" CA-approval...it's a very time-consuming, exhaustive process from what I hear.
