Dentistry in the Czech Republic
I have been thinking about sending in my application for this autumn, but the thing is that I don't know where to study. I have found this one: Charles University, Faculty of Dentistry, Hradec Kralove. Is this university well known? Am I doing the wrong thing by sending in my application? What more options do I have in the Czech Republic? Maybe Prague is better than the university in Hradec Kralove?
Really want you guys to answer since I am really lost in this whole thing. |

the university in prague and the one in Hradec are both Charles university.Charles univeristy has five faculties , 3 in prague, 1 in hradec and i in pilzen.i studied inCzech also but i went to Masarky university in Brno. Studying in Czech is very good but i would be honest it is very demanding.as long as u study hard then it would be fine because at times abt 50 can start in first yr and only 25 could make it to the next yr. as for my own school as long as u pass ur exams ,they would always be space for u in the next yr or class and my school does not fail student on purpose.although i heard that some faculties in prague always take a lot of student but they do not plan on passing everyone to the next yr and that is why u see a great gap btw the number of students that came in for the first yr and those that made it to the second yr. but that is wht i told,am not sure.

Hey there, yes the Faculty of Dentistry is quite decent in HK (hradec kralove). The problem with the Dentistry faculty in Prague is that it is one of the toughest in Europe. In fact the Charles First Faculty of Dentistry is a very reputed program in Europe. The problem is staying in. It's fairly easy to get into school but passing is the hardest....one of my friends was telling me that by the end of the 5th yr. there are somwhere around 5-10 students who actually make it...so you can imagine how hard the program is (and also why the program is so reputed)....but if you're willing to go the extra mile, and pass all your exams, then your education in the CR would be worth it (coz there are so many opportunities for graduates of Charles University/ies).
