is it true that the residencies availible to people who go to europe for med school are mainly primary?

most residents are in primary care, period. all IMGs have a high percentage of going into some primary care specialty.

surgery is certainly within reach for a great candidate. ob/gyn as well. but, IM and FP, as well as peds will make up the bulk of any off shore class, be it from europe or the carib.

if you are not going to be happy in FP or IM as a second choice, it is pretty hard to recommend any offshore school.
