Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone from Ireland currently studying at the first Faculty of med at Charles and if they had any advice for someone applying to there or just advice about medicine there in general. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

not sure if many or even any irish students in first faculty. i know there is many in the 2nd and 3rd faculties. any specific questions?

Mainly I was wondering what exactly the difference was between the 3 faculties. I know the third faculty uses PBL and the other 2 are more "traditional". Also who did you find the entrance exam and I suppose if you had any thoughts about the university/medical degree in general. Thanks for the reply.

hi there! I'm from Ireland and I've just started first year at first fac, charles uni. I applied through Abbey College in the UK. I sat the entrance exam over there, they do revision courses aswell if your interested. Theres two other Irish girls here in first fac this year and four irish in 2nd fac. Not sure bout the 3rd, we only share our anatomy lectures with 2nd fac. The year so far is going well though its pretty though and we've exams every other week. I've been in contact with someone from the 3rd faculty and the have said it is filled with many Irish students... Just thought I would let you know.

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna be sitting the entrance exam in Prague on the 19th. Just wondering if you guys have any advice for it.
