I would say that any serious consumer advocate is a member of a relevant professional organization, with the appropriate education, experience, and qualifications to perform that function expertly and without an inappropriate agenda or bias. I'm glad you feel confident in your ability, but that doesn't mean or convey much of anything to the public, to the law, the government, or the industry and shouldn't be trusted. Just because someone feels qualified to be a surgeon because they were a butcher at a supermarket doesn't meant they have the skills, intelligence, experience, qualifications, or education to do so. Feelings are great, but when it comes to a professional field, they don't amount to a hill of pinto beans.
