510 points I am actually considering Texila but stil cannot get students even on the facebook page. I want to go to Guyana because i am also Hindu and the country has a large Hindu commuity. They are cheaper than the other Medical School American International School of Medicine (AISM) but AISM have a long history of graduating students and i see they have US and UK students too on their facebook and website. So if i can't get info on Texila i will have to consider AISM instead because i really want to go to Guyana and i also want to be able to sped my money knowing that there is an end result, me graduating.
If anyone get on to student at Texila please update me. Also if there is information on their graduation and stuff like that.
510 points Guyana do have a large Indian population, most of whom are Hindu. I made that choice to choose AISM, and glad i did. Pay attetion to what students and staff says about schools. What is good about social media is that it link you to reality so take advantage of it. If you want to commuicate with students from aism visit us on facebook and also request skype to skype chat. Good luck on choosing the right school for you.
519 points All I'd say about choosing a medical school is that be thorough with your research and don't leave any stones unturned. After all, your career is at stake here. Good luck!

519 points Last I heard, the fees for the regular course was around Rs20 lakhs and Rs40 lakhs for the 'special USMLE course' .
