CMU listed in Wikipedia!

CMU has made it into the Wikipedia! See:

Caribbean Medical University - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Caribbean Medical University is based in Curacao, Netherland Antilles. It is not accredited by any accreditation body recognized by its country. As such, its degrees and credits might not be acceptable to employers or other institutions, and use of degree titles may be restricted or illegal in some jurisdictions.
The school does not have a charter to operate, nor is it listed in FAIMER's International Medical Education Directory as being recognized by the the appropriate civil authorities.[1]. It is also listed by the Oregon Office of Degree Authorization as unaccredited, and therefore its degree is illegal to use in that state.[2]

wow

That is not a very big deal because any thing can be listed on wikipedia as long as some one is willing to write it. That is what so great about wikipedia because you get a wide variety of information that is usually no cover by a normal encyclopedia. However, it is also the major flaw of wikipedia because companies can use the site as a source of advertisment and a lot of its contents do not have a very legitimate source of reference.

dosn't say anything really good:

Yeah, that certainly isn't a flattering write-up. One of the good things about wikipedia is that things aren't always sunny and bright.

Such example just shows the strength and weakness of wikipedia. It is place where people can get the most up to date information, but it is a place that contains information that can be change by anyone from anywhere.

this current entry is short, but highly accurate with proper links to back it up.

nothig new, whats the big deal?

You post it like if it made it to Britanica Encyclopaedia but it happened with St. Chris too. As much as the information is accurate, we do know that Wikipedia is not an acceptable source of reference for most ACCREDITED U.S. educational institutions, see the irony of whoever post it? Remember the little scandal with WIKI? A moderator that was fired because he pretended to be a PhD and turned out to be a 2nd year college dropout?

We are beating on the same thing over and over folks, we know what the Inspector General said, that they have no license or charter but are working on getting one. (thats what he said, once they get it , then the argument will shift towards something else I am sure) We are simply walking in circles here.
