This place is more interesting than any mexican telenovellas.
I think the current situation has all of necessary ingredients for a great soap opera.
1) A villain who keeps making up lies to cover lies. In this story, CMU is the villain in here. While the school has made whole bunch of promises, but nothing has been done to fulfill those promises. 2) Victims who believe in the villain's scheme. In this case, it is the 5 or six students who are currently attending this school and they some how believe that they will eventually get to practice in the USA. 3) People who are fighting against the villain and trying to prevent future students from getting con by the cmu scams. Currently, the list of those people is growing. 4) A plot that keeps evolving everyday. The best writers in the world can not come up with the many twists and turns this cmu forum is developing. One day the school promises this approval, the next day it promises that approval and nothing gets done after all of these days. What is next? Is it going to be California approved in one week? 5) In between all of the different dramatic peaks and valleys, there is also a huge amount of comic relieve. The major example is the school's mascot DJ Silva. It is kind of funny that the school dean himself also refers to those stupid videos as the school's official advertisements. I just want to make some points about those dj silva videos. a) Come on, Mr Dean, hire a real professional crew and make some good videos for Christ sakes. Videos that are filmed by some low grade digital camera with out the proper lightning is not a symbol of quality. b) The videos make your school like a place that is operating in someone's garage. Sure, your website is making claims about how big your campus and how buildings u have. However, I keep seeing your students are standing around in some small little building who are crammed like a bunch of sardines and dj silva keeps showing those footages over and over again. That is all I have to say for right now. Does any one have anything to add? |

Hi
Stop all nonsense here. How can you say that the video you are referring was taken in Garage. If you do not like or have valid points, stick on to those points, but not blaming the school entirely and calling the students who are attending as useless. There are more than 50 students and they are happy and some of them already doing their clinicals. we are not here to answer people like you . Just call the proper admin staff of CMU and clarify the doubts. If do not believe them, its your personnel problem. Do you think 50 students attending the school are all studpids. They joined there bc they trust CMU. whats YOUR PROBLEM?. Last edited by ansom; 08-25-2007 at 06:37 PM. |

We dont beleive CMU admin for a simple reason. If you check on the "facts" they give you, it turns out CMU admin is lying. They claim a bunch of rotations, but wont back it up. They claim rotations in PA & NJ, but its common knowledge that this isnt possible. Then they constantly change their webiste, as we systematically find all the flaws and deceptions they post. If you really did your research before attending, you would have to think twice. If you cant get accepted anywhere that has IMED, legit rotations, grads in residency, etc .... then I guess CMU might be your only option.

How do you know there are 50 students? The most students RL ever stated at the start was somewhere around 32. sjdiva, a current student at CMU, stated they were 12(?) and now down to 6. [1] 1. http://djsiva.blogspot.com/2007/08/another-somewhat-potentially-big-week.html |

Hey
I got admission in four MED schools from carribean. Out of that two are ur so called SGU and ROSS. I preferred CMU bc they are confident to make the SCHOOL No: 1 in Carribean and I believe them. They do have more clinical/rotations than any other NEW MED school had before. You all will realize that within few years. May be you will vote for CMU at that time. Have faith. |

1 in clinicals. 36 starting in September? Is this figure like the 32(?) you stated started in May? So, my guess is more like you'll have around 15 students total come September. |
