I guess we need to get back to congratulating CMU on all their accomplishments (the topic of the thread).

You realize that non-CMU'ers are posting on here, right? Where are the other cheerleaders? Did SMU snatch them up for their basketball cheer squad?

Well, we can congratulate CMU for having CS Student-Preceptor Ratio of 0.03 - 1. What does that work out to in actual live whole bodies? 3 students to 100 perceptors? Does this mean they have 3 clinical students? Or, 9 students since they have 327 sites? I dont recall any CMU person bragging about that.

Anyone else notice that in their "charter," the first page the letter of intent: It is stamped 4/07/07 but the letter is dated June 07? Not to mention that it says it will start offering undergraduate coursework in MAY?

Yes, I saw that. Moderately interesting that Undergraduate was in bold, Was the issue of a med. school so vexatious and problematic that he had to make it doubly clear he wasn't talking about M.D. degrees?
Regarding the dates, I think this reflects the difference between American and European date format. So the letter was written on "June 30th" and date stamped by a receiving govt. official on 4th July (or July 4th).

Oh, you're right. Totally forgot about the European vs US date thing Either way though, June and May don't add up still

Yes it seems to be yet another example of RL's penchant for working retrospectively; possibly in a great panic too!

This is really a mess! Did they forget that there are some smart people out there, and they will take their time to read every single line and detail. I just read the posted documents, to tell the truth, it's like they were copied from and older document, and they did not even care to rectify the dates, from 2007, 2001 and beyond. This is silly and sillier
