Second, the IMED/WHO listing is now just a matter of weeks since the most important document /charter/ was signed today and those 2 organization have to list CMU among other caribbean medical schools.
Our IT department prepares the update of the website to show the copy of CMU's charter.
So what you have to say about this?
are you going to respond to SOE after he gave you the posts?

By the way:

From about two months ago -

"There is no IMED recognition, WHO and FAIMER is just a matter of weeks. They have to finish merging their databases."

I find that funny, that you're saying that they have to finish merging their databases, meaning that everything was already finished and settled two months ago for listing.

http://www.valuemd.com/caribbean-medical-university-cmu/136326-caribbean-medical-university-2.html#post617552

"THE DATE WHEN A SCHOOL WAS ESTABLISHED MATTERS and CMU WAS ESTABLISHED IN MARCH 20007!!!!!"

But that charter was just signed today?

http://www.valuemd.com/caribbean-medical-university-cmu/137573-i-need-some-information-admin.html#post623301

"CMU/CIU has all required documents to operate the university on the island of Curaca, its just a matter of time for WHO and IMED to receive the information about the university. You may contact the Ministry of Education of Netherland Antilles to inquire about CMU establishment but the WHO and IMED listing will be done once they two finish combining their databases.
On our website you may also find the CMU foundation registration documents, that is recognized by the Government of Netherlands Antilles. If you have any other questions please dont hesitate to contact our offices."

From two months ago you said you have everything, and all the documents are listed, etc etc. But the charter was just signed today? And now you're saying it will be weeks more for WHO/IMED because of that? So then what was all that you said?

http://www.valuemd.com/caribbean-medical-university-cmu/140477-letter-new-sga-president-fall-2007-a.html#post647238

"You need to stop and wait till next Friday to see documents regarding IMED listing."

You're right, you didn't explicitly say anything that it will be the IMED that will appear today. Though at least it clears it up.

http://www.valuemd.com/caribbean-medical-university-cmu/140515-rlewkowski-who-imed-2.html#post647582

"Because CMU is fully legit school and eligible for listing in WHO and IMED as any other Caribbean medical school. However there was a delay in processing our application, which was submitted on March 15th. The delay occurred due to circumstances that were not under our control. As I stated in the previous posts, the situation has been clarified now and within one week we'll post official documents confirming our listing with those two agencies."

Is this because you DIDN'T HAVE A CHARTER? And I think this is where you promised CONFIRMATION of your listing "WITH THOSE TWO AGENCIES"

It's been pseudo-done. You have to dig deeper where in the barely readable light blue on white background it will tell you it's still in the process.

that's fine, then take it off of this page. all any potential student has to do is go to the "About CMU" page and look - according to that, they have IMED/WHO. someone shouldn't have to search around a website to find one page saying "ohh look, we do have it!" and another page saying "ohh well, yeah we kinda don't have it".

the only thing I can be sure of in this discussion is the docP uses Windows Vista. Sad, just sad.

So how are they preparing students for USMLE?
Will they be able to take the USMLE?
And why they have USMLE if no students have taken the test yet and they dont have IMED?
Hellooo anybody there?

It's a good idea. To the naive student who believes everything they read, they'll be satisfied with just that page. And in case anyone now brings some kind of legal trouble (people who signed up before can probably show archived material where it does not have this), they can say, "But look, we did mention it here."

I think the flaw here is that CIU is not qualified to teach MD level courses. If they were why would you even bother with getting the charter at all? And why isnt CIU listed with IMED/WHO?

Quite frankly, I dont think there were too many students attending the MD program this semester. How many were there left? 3?

All CMU has to do is allow the current students to 'repeat' the courses again in September. This way their transcript will show courses taken when the school has its charter. Ah, there are ways around it. I'll bet though any licensing officials monitoring this forum will note this, maybe?

(The bet is for 1 cent ZWD.)
('repeat' could be just faking it in some way)
