    IMG alternative career in Canada !!!!

    Hi dear collegues

    Do you know what can a IMg work in Canada if it is not licenced to practice medicine.

    I have heard that I can work as a pharma sales representative and so on, but I am not sure!?

    So pease give some ideas if you have, but not a guesses !

    Working as a pharm rep as an unlicensed physician would be the most depressing job on earth, IMHO. Seriously, who would want to approach physicians all-day-every-day as a reminder of what you can't do?

    Unlicensed physicians can do a lot of things. They may be able to teach or do research, which could be a pathway to a future residency. However, it would probably be a pantload easier to get a residency in the States, and then apply to work in Canada. Matching in Canada as an IMG/FMG is bleeping brutal.

    Pharm reps can make great money especially if they scrub in and demonstrate surgical hardware/devices. Possibly 6 digit income! I wouldn't disregard a Pharm Rep job if it were offered.
