I have not started the application process for the canadian exams...perhaps next spring...I'm not in a big hurry.

Cool About getting back to Canada after Residency
Hey,

Quick question regarding getting back to Canada.... Since I'm a US citizen now a Perm Resident in Canada and applying to some Carib med schools, I was wondering if someone could clue me in how that would work for me. I don't if I would need the same 2 yr requirement to get back to Canada. My wife wants to come back, but I'd like the facts to better gauge the situation.

Since you do not need a Visa do train in the US the 2 year rule would not apply. You really need to read the Lic requirements for the province you wish to return to. Info on this site is not something to base a career on.
